The beautiful exclusive interview with Fabrizio.
In addition to these topics, he talks to us about solutions, investments and the future of the Ressia winery.
The expansion of the company and the increase in production
In recent years, our company has taken a real leap forward in the expansion of its wine production. And it's not just a matter of quantity, but also of quality. Fortunately, our wines are increasingly appreciated both at Italian and international levels. If you also follow us on our social channels, you will have perceived the passion we put into every phase of the production process, from the production and selection of grapes to the attention to detail during winemaking. It is a job that requires patience, dedication and love for the land. We are proud of what we have achieved so far, but we know that there is still a lot to do.
Adaptation to climate change
Climate change is a reality that we all have to deal with, especially farms and wineries. We also want to stand out for our ability to adapt, with courageous choices such as converting the southern part of the vineyards, those of Moscato d'Asti, to Nebbiolo da Barbaresco and the part behind Barbera. We must make the most of what nature offers, adapting ourselves to increasingly hot and dry conditions. It's a bit like a challenge, a game of chess with mother nature. But we are ready to put all our pawns and our experience on the line. And as I walk through the vineyards, I can feel the energy that our vines emanate, as if the land itself were grateful for the love and commitment I dedicate to it. It is a lesson in resilience and creativity, reminding us how important it is to adapt to changes and seek innovative solutions.
The positive results obtained by working on Barbera
Working intensively on the Barbera grape variety has been a real success for our company. We have put so much effort and passion into enhancing this grape variety, with new vineyards and the results can be seen. Today, when one of our Barbera bottles is opened, every sip is a unique sensory experience, capable of exciting and making the taste buds vibrate. It's hard to resist the temptation to drink one glass after another, letting yourself be seduced by the complexity and richness of the flavors. And while you taste these wines, you can feel the soul of the company, the dedication and love that we put into each bottle.
The strategy of moving white wines to cooler areas
Another strategy that we are carrying out is to move white wine vineyards to cooler areas. All this to improve alcohol levels and give unparalleled freshness. And I must tell you that the result is and will be surprising.
We are also looking to the future with important news.
From the month of September, my wife Deborah will also join the company full time, who will help us to develop more and more the part dedicated to hospitality in the winery with visits, tastings and increasingly engaging experiences for fans of this fantastic world of wine. So let's raise the glass and toast while waiting to see you in the cellar.
Cheers!
